Update - CrossFit German Throwdown & German Throwdown Classic

While Germany and Europe are slowly emerging from the embrace of the coronavirus, the majority of CrossFit boxes have reopened, and national borders are or will be reopened.
Even if the situation for big events is still uncertain, we are working on an implementation and hygiene concept for our events and hope to be able to offer the CrossFit Community safe, but great competitions as soon as possible.
German Throwdown Classic 2020
The German Throwdown Classic is about to take place on November 14th and 15th (hopefully). In order to ensure that the competition runs smoothly in front of an audience, we are working together with the team of our location Halle 45 on a hygiene concept that will meet all health requirements. Since it is now allowed to train again in the boxes in all federal states of Germany, as well as in the neighboring countries, we assume a smooth preparation for the athletes. We will announce further details about qualification, ticket sales and the competition as soon as the event can definitely take place. The qualifier is to be expected to take place at the end of August / beginning of September. The divisions will remain the same for the time being last year.
CrossFit German Throwdown Finals
The final of the CrossFit German Throwdown was postponed until now due to the restrictions caused by the coronavirus. Nonetheless, we believe that the event will be held successfully in 2021. The restrictions on the coronavirus will gradually be lifted and we hope for our big event in 2021. An exact date will be announced as soon as possible for our Sanctionals event to plan for the next season.
We are pleased to announce that the majority of the already qualified athletes and wildcard holders have retained their starting position for the time being. All tickets already purchased will remain valid and no further steps need to be taken to use the tickets for 2021.
