Event Update German Throwdown Classic 2020

A lot happened since we did a soft-announcement of the German Throwdown Classic for November 14th and 15th this year. Many Corona restrictions were eased in Germany but now the number of infections are on a rise again and so are restrictions.
As the biggest event in our community in the german-speaking region many thausands of spectators gather to watch, support and celebrate their athletes, stroll and shop around the Vendor Village and simply enjoying a nice weekend. Now the German government decided on August 27th that big events, like the German Throwdown Classic, are still forbidden until the end of 2020
This is a very bitter decision for us, after postponing the CrossFit German Throwdown in March we cannot run our second and very traditional Classic Event. This means that we cannot have an event for over one year, which obviously hits us economically. In the last few weeks and months we worked in the background to secure the future of the GTD, so as soon as we are allowed we are ready to go! We want to thank again for the support of our community, spectators, athletes and our many partners.
